• Congrats to our 2008 Golden Heart Finalists! Amanda Brice (YA) PARTY LIKE IT'S 1899; Kristina McMorris (Romantic Elements) FLAHERTY'S CROSSING a collaboration with her mother, Linda Yoshida.


• Kristina McMorris and her mother signed with Marcy Posner of Sterling Lord Literistic.


• Kristina McMorris' BETWEEN THE LINES is a Zola finalist in the PNWA's annual literary contest.


• Alyson Noel's SAVING ZOË is a finalist in the National Reader's Choice Awards, and has also been nominated for YALSA's Teen's Top Ten award.


• Lois Winston's LOVE, LIES AND A DOUBLE SHOT OF DECEPTION won the Winter Rose Award for Excellence in Romantic Fiction (single title contemporary/romantic suspense category) and the More Than Magic contest in the Romantic Suspense category. The book has also finaled in the Beacon, Golden Leaf, Golden Quill, and Laurie Awards.


• Gabi Herkert's CATNAPPED! is a finalist for the Daphne's which are given out by the Kiss of Death Chapter of RWA.


• Cindy Procter-King's BORROWING ALEX won the Lories Best Published, Contemporary category and placed second in More Than Magic, Romantic Comedy category. Her work-in-progress, SEX, PIs & PACKING TAPE is a finalist in the Lories Best Proposal by Published Author Contest.


• Michelle Lauren's LOVE BITES...LITERALLY placed 3rd in the Great Expectations Contest; and HEARTBREAKER received an Honorable Mention in the Fab Five Contest


• Deborah Blake's short story DEAD AND (MOSTLY) GONE won 3rd prize in the 1st ever Pagan Fiction Contest, and will be included in the forthcoming Pagan Fiction Anthology: 13 Prize Winning Tales (Llewelyn 2009).


• Elyssa Papa's TAKE A CHANCE ON ME won 3rd place in the 2008 Grand Beginnings Contest and is a finalist in the Fool for Love Contest.
